You are welcome to come simply to learn more about RISD and to ask questions. Admission officer of Rhode Island School of Design will be at Kazone on 10/24/2016 Monday 7-8pm for a brief presentation of School program and admission process.

About Robh:
Robh Ruppel worked for TSR for several years beginning in 1992, producing cover and interior art for products from the Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, and Ravenloft settings, among others. In 1994, he began producing artwork for the Planescape setting as well, which constituted the majority of this career with TSR. When TSR was purchased by Wizards of the Coast, he also illustrated cards for Magic: The Gathering.
Ruppel worked as a teacher at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he previously studied industrial design and illustration as a student.
Robh Ruppel is a production designer and concept artist working in games and feature films. He art directed Meet the Robinsons and Brother Bear for Disney. He won Best Art Direction for Uncharted 2.
About Kim Jung Gi:
Kim Jung Gi is an established artist from South Korea whose art work has attracted the international attention of millions over the last few years.
He has the ability to visualize the drawing before making his marks. With mental pictures, he can draw without a photographic reference.
"I observe things all the time. I don’t take references while I’m drawing, but I’m always collecting visual resources. I observe them carefully on daily basis, almost habitually. I study images of all sorts and genres, "Kim said, adding that he's been passionate about art since he was a kid."
Since 2007, he has published three Sketchbooks which contain more than 2,200 pages of his monumental art work.

Tution & Attendance Policy for Kazone Art Academy

1)   Monthly tuition is due every 4 weeks.  Payments received after the due date will be assessed a $25 late fee for each late monthly installment.

2)   Students are expected to attend all classes.  Consistent attendance offers the most effective opportunity for students to understand concepts, materials, and expectations of those courses in which they are enrolled. 
3)     It is the policy of the Kazone Art Academy to excuse the absences of students for the  following reasons:

Student will not receive credit for absences that do not fall into any of the categories outlined below 

• Illness or injury when the student is unable to attend class, student needs to obtain a doctor's note.

• Planned vacation/trip. Students requesting an excused absence must email to admin staff two weeks prior to the scheduled absence when known in advance.

(1) Unexcused absence allowed per month.

Three (3) unexcused tardies  will be considered as (1) unexcused absence.

Payment method:
Student can submit monthly tuition following method:
  • Check: Make payable to "Kazone art", be sure to state full student name on "memo". Place your check in an envelope (provided) and state any necessary memo and insert your envelope into a white deposit box.
  • Mail: Mail your check to Kazone Art: 4850 Barranca Parkway #201, Irvine CA 92604
  • Credit Card: Only available for PayPal account holder, send your invoice inquiry to contact@kazoneart.com. none- PayPal account holder will be responsible for the transaction fee.

FREE College Admission workshop with Art Center College of Design

Kazone Art is offering a FREE College Admission workshop with director of a Recruitment from Art Center college of Design. 
[DATE: 1.30.2016 Saturday    TIME: 2pm-5pm]

Workshop will present detail process of admission and portfolio requirements per major. Valuable information for FAFSA and Scholarship will be provided.

3. Samples of accepted/scholarhip portfoilo 
6. Q&A, Portfolio review (Bring in samples of art)
